So, our dear contributor 
suggested a secret santa event a little over a month ago. This is the information provided about it:To participate in the (SUPER LATE)
Comment in this journal with a prompt for the short story you would like written. Include a few details you would like to see in the story. They can be things like basic plot points, a character, a setting, whatever you want in the story. You can make your prompt brief or detailed, though if you make it detailed, leave some room for the writer to insert their own ideas. If you submit a prompt, you will also receive a prompt and you are to write a story with it.
When writing your gift story, the audience for your writing is the person who made your prompt. Aim to please them. Incorporate their ideas, but don’t be afraid to put your own ideas in. (If the person you’re writing for had wanted a story with only his own ideas, he could have written it himself.) You don't even have to be a writer to participate, but you must return a gift story!
The acceptable length is anywhere between 750 and 1500 words.

also, if any of the prompts in the comments interest you, you can reply to them to claim that prompt, but remember to give them your own prompt as well! participants might also receive multiple gifts, but i don't think we should force them to write more than one gift if they don't wish to. by the end of the event, each participant will definitely get a gift. i will be the one who will write them if you receive no prompt from someone else.
